Happy spring!
I hope you have all had a lovely Easter break. I have to say it is my favourite time of the year, the lovely daffodils & bluebells are out in my woodland cottage garden. If the weather is kind we will be having some of our sessions outside very soon.
Our latest news & events:
Now the evenings are lighter we are bringing back our MONTHLY FRIDAY GIRLS CRAFT NIGHT IN, an evening of escapism .
I have also added FRIDAY EVENING & SATURDAY CLASSES TOO!
The dates for our next monthly CRAFT RETREAT DAYS are 28th April, 19th May & 30th June. A whole day of ME time, or half a day if you prefer. These are held at Plaitford village hall.
Please note a £10 non refundable deposit is required to book your space on our classes/sessions.
If you would like to attend any of the sessions but the hours aren't suitable for you, get in touch and i will see if i can fit you in at another time. Also if you would like to get a group of friends together we can plan something.
We are lucky to have Virna from Vintage V back with us on Saturday 25th May , She will be teaching us to make a gorgeous hand sewn JOINTED HARE,using charming vintage fabrics.
We also have a CRAFT DESTASH on Sunday 16th June at Plaitford village hall 10am-1pm . Please contact me to book a table at £10 each. Additional outside tables may be released weather permitting.
Hopefully there will be something on the newsletter to tempt you. Please let me know if there is anything you would like to learn or if there is a skill you would like to offer.

Sarah’s Stamp Shack New Year Newsletter 2024
Happy new year everyone,
I hope you all had a good Christmas with maybe a crafty gift sent or received too.
Last year was full of new opportunities, going out to new groups to share my passion for craft. Crafting with adults with learning difficulties. Teaching enrichment classes at a local private school, new monthly craft retreat days at the village hall… I am so looking forward to what 2024 will bring.
This year the stamp shack becomes 20 years old!!! An achievement in this day & age. There will be offers/ events to celebrate this.
We have some lovely workshops planned as we go into spring my favourite time of the year. If you do have facebook please follow us on there as it is frequently updated. If the dates/ times of workshops do not work for you, please message me and i will see what i can do.
We will be reintroducing our Friday evening girls night after Easter.

I hope you are all well and coping with the wet weather, a perfect excuse to stay in & craft. .
How can this possibly be the last newsletter of 2023! This year seems to have flown by so quickly. I expect you are all busy making your cards & gifts.

We have had a really great summer managing to hold most of our Wednesday Coffee mornings outside from May until October! It was lovely being able to spend so much time in my cottage garden.
We have now introduced a monthly Sunday craft retreat which is an all day event. A wonderful chance to meet fellow crafters and have some much needed ME time working on your own projects.Our next one is 26th November at Plaitford village hall.

Welcome to the Autumn newsletter, here is our latest news.
This month marks 19 years in business, so many changes but still here
giving you good value & coming up with different ideas every week!
We have had a busy summer with many of our Wednesday coffee mornings held outside in my cottage garden, this is still the case weather permitting if you would like to join us.
The Hampshire open studios were a great success,we met lots of lovely new people. Some of you are now receiving this newsletter for the first time. We hope to see you at a workshop soon,a warm welcome awaits.
A lot of planning has been going on behind the scenes at stampshack HQ to provide a varied program. Please note we have evening sessions too.
Our workshops are great value, small groups & include tea coffee & homemade cake too!
We have reintroduced our CROP/RETREAT DAY. We hope to hold this regularly & also a beginners CROCHET session too! We have some amazing workshops coming up with some very talented craft tutors.

Sarah’s Stamp Shack Summer Newsletter 2023
Hi Everyone,
I can't believe how quickly this year is going and we are already on the summer newsletter.
We have been so lucky with the weather and have been able to spend so many of our coffee mornings/ classes out in the garden. Thank you to all the keen gardeners that have given advice, brought along plants, seeds & pots. We are all loving seeing the garden evolve, it is looking so colourful and hoping it will be looking wonderful for our ten day event in August.
I have been busy preparing for the HAMPSHIRE OPEN STUDIOS which we are so looking forward to. New flyers designed by my daughter Katie, new bunting in the making. Lots of preparations going on behind the scenes. Save the date 19-28th August we will be open every day from 11am-6pm so if you haven't visited pop down & see what we do. There will craft stalls and refreshments served in the cottage garden too.
I have added some EVENING CRAFT SESSIONS to the newsletter so if you are busy during the day hopefully this will work for you.
We have a three part LEARN TO KNIT class with Jane on Saturdays 5th,12th, & 19th August 10am-12pm we have already taken some bookings, so please message to save your space. This will be a small group with two tutors to support you. The cost is £60 which includes kit, with everything you need to complete the project. Also a gift, tea, coffee & homemade cake too.

Late spring newsletter 2023
Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all well and enjoyed the King's Coronation!
Sorry for the delay in the newsletter.
I was invited into an assisted living home and made coronation table decorations with the residents for their celebrations.
I was also booked for an afternoon at a local craft group last week too. They tried mini folk art, which they really enjoyed. If you would like to get creative with a group of friends here, please let me know and we can go through some options.
The weather is starting to warm up and we have already been crafting outside in my cottage garden.
Exciting news, we are starting an introduction to knitting with Jane. If you would like to learn a new skill be sure to book. Held over 3 saturday mornings, includes tuition, yarn & needles.
Virna from vintage V is holding a Hand sewing bear workshop on Saturday’ 27th May. More information on this is listed on the newsletter. We will also be having a Bear retreat this summer too if you fancy a crafty weekend away here please get in touch. I have various other retreats planned too!
Please support our workshops, if the dates and times don't work for you, let me know and we will look at rearranging.
Our workshops are great value for money and generally include all materials, tea, coffee,homemade cake & 10% off instore.
Things have been a little quiet and I have taken on some extra part time work so classes are now not held every week. This gives me prep time and time out for private bookings too.

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT: WE NOW OFFER SATURDAY CLASSES! For all you creative crafters that can't make it during the week!
Spring is my favourite time of year and as soon as it warms up we will be crafting outside in my cottage garden. To those who haven't been out yet we are lucky to be in a rural location situated on a national trust common, a lovely and peaceful escape from the town.
We offer a variety of creative classes to suit all abilities.
These workshops are found to improve wellbeing, relieve anxiety, lift your mood, and create happiness. Whilst having some much needed time out.
Coming up we have:
A hand sewing EASTER BUNNY WORKSHOP with the very talented Virna from Vintage V on Saturday 18th March 10am-4pm session includes Bunny kit, tuition, tea, coffee & homemade cake. Please bring your lunch, scissors, needle and cotton in pastel shades as there will be a choice of colours to choose from. £55
Our Friday night SOCK KNITTING WORKSHOPS are proving very popular. Jane is very patient and under her amazing guidance we have had several finish already! The Sessions run over several weeks and you would have to be booked in when we have space as we are doing small groups only. Please get in contact if you are interested.

Hi everyone, I cannot believe it is time for the summer newsletter already,this year is going so quickly!
I just want to say welcome to all our lovely new followers, i look forward to seeing you visit the shop/booking into a workshop or session soon. A warm welcome awaits. Our classes include all materials tea, coffee & homemade cake and 10% off any purchases, so great value!
I am introducing an evening class for those that cannot make it during the day. Do not worry if you will be running late, just let me know.
We are also introducing a Mystery card class & Mystery mixed media class! So take a risk, i am sure you will have fun! Also if you want to get a group of friends together, contact me and we can work out a time that is convenient for you.
We had a lovely jubilee celebration with a quiz & cream tea in the garden.
Plans are going well for our Hampshire open studios event 20-29th August, we just have to keep our fingers crossed that we will be blessed with the weather. So we can have refreshments in the cottage garden.
We have fused glass, memory bears, needle felting, sewing, knitting, wood turning, preserves and more… There will be crafty demonstrations too, so please save the date.
In September we have a yarn spectacular event planned, with a sock knit along workshop, Knit a baby blanket workshop, and other mini yarn events and offers too!
