Newsletter - Spring 2014

Hi Everyone, I can’t believe it is March already! Hopefully the better weather is now here.

We have been in our new location for 9 months now!!  So if you haven’t been out here yet you really need to see it. Hopefully it is the weather that has kept you away and we will see you soon.

As usual we have been doing wonderful things for charity, our knit & natters have been making baby clothes for the Neo-natal unit at the Princess Anne hospital in Southampton. I dropped three carrier bags of beautiful hand knitted hats, Booties, Cardigans, Mittens & Baby blankets, amounting to 69 items in total. They were very gratefully received and told me what else was needed, let me know if you would like to get involved.  Knitters and crochet are welcome at any of the drop in sessions, crop – days, coffee mornings as well as knit & natter sessions.

Our cards for the forces have now reached 5,000! Card’s sent out to our forces in Afghanistan. This means that they have cards to send home to their families & friends. They are very grateful for these and I have some lovely letters of thanks sent to me here. We are hoping to get something into the local papers very soon to mark the occasion. I am very proud of our achievement!  Just proves a small business like mine can still make a big difference.

I went to the trade show in Birmingham in February and have ordered some lovely new stock.

New in little Claire silhouette stamps and other new stamps from their ranges.

Coming soon: We will have new W.O.W clear stamps & 30 new colours of embossing powders these are gorgeous. We also have some lovely new moulds & findings, so we can make our own embellishments & jewellery.

On its way: A large delivery of Hunky dory, die-cut decoupage sheets, kits & stamp sets.

Still to come: Cardio-stamps- These gorgeous little stamps that fit onto acrylic rods make beautiful cards & notepaper. Decorate corners, borders, envelopes etc...

Coming soon: New Marianne &Tattered lace dies to use in your die- cutting machine.....

So lots to look forward to in the next few weeks....
