Hi Everyone,

I hope you have enjoyed the lovely summer weather we have just had.  We are all loving the new premises it has plenty of parking, there is lots of room for our classes and it is it is lovely and bright. If you haven’t popped in yet, you don’t know what you have been missing!

Check out our website, Simon has been busy updating it with lots of lovely photograph’s of the craft centre and its beautiful surrounding’s. The website is:   Also I have a new email address it is a lot shorter than the last one, it is: [email protected]  Thank you Simon for all your hard work sorting these out for me.  Susa and Nicky have been kindly updating my Facebook page as I am totally clueless!  Please take a look it is looking good, thank you both.

We are trying another beginners Crochet session with Lona on Friday 20th Sept  11am -1pm , please let me know if you are interested.

We didn’t have a grand opening as we just wanted to get in following so many disappointments.  We have decided to have an OPEN DAY on Saturday 28th September from 10am-4pm.  There will be a Stix 2 demonstrator, demonstrating their products during the day, a raffle and sale table & more... plus homemade cakes tea & coffee.  I hope to see lots of you then.

NATIONAL CARD MAKING DAY is Saturday 5th October, we will be having a crop day and dedicating this day to making some more cards for the forces in Afghanistan, we have just had a lovely letter from a young girl who is stationed out there for nine months, who is looking forward to the next batch of cards arriving.  So join us on this day and donate a card or two.

NATIONAL KNITTING WEEK is October 14th-20th there will be a couple of knit & natter sessions that week with charity knitting patterns available.  Also a pattern swap so exchange your unwanted patterns with others. Come along knit, crochet, stitch or just craft we would love to see you.

PARCHMENT TASTER SESSIONS- Christine will be doing one hour taster sessions on Saturday 26th October, at £5 per session. You will do a make & take trying out parchment techniques.

The adult & child craft sessions during the summer holidays went really well, the kids really enjoyed it.  Look out for the Halloween sessions planned for half term.  If you would like to bring your children in to craft at another time please contact me in advance so I can plan something for them to do.

We have some new magazines in stock, cards & crafts for Christmas and craft stamper that I have not stocked before.  Please let me know if you would like a copy.

We have ANNIE PICKARD who has been on Create & Craft TV several times, who has written a number of books, made DVD’s on sugar crafting coming to do some Christmas character sugar paste modelling with us.  Some of you met her at Anita’s birthday party.  Please look at the website for pictures of what we made. It was a very enjoyable day and we couldn’t believe how many figures we made and new techniques we were taught.  There are only 20 places so please let me know if you are interested. Full payment will be made at time of booking. The date we are looking at is Sunday 1st December 10am-4pm. Please contact me for more details.
